What You’ll Do

As the Postsecondary Pathways Manager, you will provide critical operational and programmatic support to the Director of Postsecondary Pathways. This role ensures the successful implementation of Summit’s Concrete Next Step (CNS) programming by managing logistics, maintaining systems, and working directly with students and school staff. You will act as a bridge between the Director’s strategic leadership and school-level implementation of CNS programming.

Key Responsibilities

Student and Teacher Support

  • Provide direct support to students with college, career, and financial aid applications.

  • Assist teachers and mentors in navigating postsecondary tools and curriculum.

  • Respond to student/parent inquiries regarding CNS milestones and processes.

Training and Event Coordination

  • Support the planning and facilitation of training sessions for mentors and teachers.

  • Coordinate logistics for CNS events, such as college nights and senior oral defenses.

  • Serve as the logistical liaison for external partners and service providers.

Data and Systems Management

  • Maintain and update CNS tracking databases and student-facing platforms (e.g., Overgrad).

  • Monitor student progress data and flag issues for intervention.

  • Support data collection and reporting related to student outcomes and program impact.

  • Assist in gathering alumni data (e.g., matriculation, persistence) in coordination with the Info Team, ensuring accuracy and completeness for reporting.

Resource and Communication Support

  • Assist in the development and distribution of newsletters, school profiles, and family communication.

  • Update web and print resources for students, families, and mentors.

  • Contribute to the preparation and presentation of professional development and training materials.

  • Draft internal communications, blurbs, or templates for newsletters, mentor updates, and student-facing materials, in partnership with the Director.

  • Maintain updated documentation and toolkits from service providers and partners (e.g., Overgrad, CNS partner orgs) for internal use and reference.

Curriculum Development

  • Support the ongoing audit, maintenance, and creation of CNS curriculum and resource libraries to ensure content reflects current postsecondary guidance and timelines.

  • Draft and update post-secondary curriculum resources using best practices from the field and previously created curriculum in alignment with vision for post secondary success.

Program Improvement and Feedback

  • Design and implement surveys or informal check-ins to collect feedback from students and mentors on CNS programming.

  • Analyze feedback and data to identify trends and recommend improvements to strengthen the program.

What You Need

  • Commitment to uphold Summit’s values and belief that all students deserve a rigorous, college-preparatory education.

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.

  • Coursework or experience in education, counseling, or social work preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience working with youth, particularly in college access or postsecondary readiness.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with students, families, and educators.

  • Proficiency in Google Platforms, including Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Slides.

  • Clear health and background check.

Our compensation policy strives to be equitable and transparent. The salary for this position starts at $85,902 and goes up to $101,623 commensurate with experience and qualifications.
